Thanks for stopping by to find out more about me! I started making bears by accident about 10 years ago. It all started with a trip to the fabric store to try making a bear for the first time. I bought a pattern and a piece of plush. I brought it home and sewed it together and I was not happy with the end result. I tried many different store bought patterns, but it just wasnt the look I wanted for my bears. After much encouragement from a dear friend, I sat down and designed my own pattern and I havent stopped since. I eventually switched to mohair once I created what I consider the perfect pattern for my style of bears.
I also like to make unique and unusal bears out of old blue jeans, vintage wool blankets and many other types of fabrics other then mohair. Im a big fan of pandas (if you cant tell *smiles*) and tattered teds. I try to create a bear that has a soulful look that will melt your heart. When you look into his eyes, you can almost hear him say "pick me up, I need a hug". I always have bears available on my website, so check back often! If you see something you like, please dont hesitate to email me and I can make you a similar bear, but please keep in mind, no two bears are exactly identical no matter how hard I try.

I am also the Mother of 5 beautiful children ...4 boys and 1 girl. They range in age from 7 to 20.  As you can see from the photo, my oldest son Justin  graduated from high school in 2006 and Jared graduated this year...Yeah!!
